Anyone else find it odd that a Montana governor who committed a felony assault got elected?
Also, the reason he committed that assault was that the reporter found out he had a vested interest in a russian oil company.
Seem fishy? Anyone?

Hi, found this via your twitter after your piece on the casino and the ex-CIA guy. Nice work.
I don't find this odd at all, it's the logical conclusion of the GOP and Trump purposefully creating a climate of aggression and distrust against the press - you know, the lying liberal MSM, traitors all, enemies of America. It's scary, and I expect more of it to come as it's going to be their counternarrative against the leaks. I expect more reporters to get hurt, especially after the Montana incident setting the example that this violence will be tolerated and excused by the GOP, right-wing pundits and Trump himself.
Of course it's fishy. I've read that Gianforte has funds in Gazprom and Rosneft and find it highly credible - honestly, at this point, are you even surprised anymore?
